Yes the little people who can make it break your shopping trip, dictate the time you actually get to shop there and determine how enjoyable it was.Ī huge thumbs up to this retail village for some of the best in class retailing which we encountered today. Given the realities of working parenthood on summer holidays we headed to Freeport Braintree with little people in tow and looked at how well set up Freeport was for a family shopping experience, one which needs to cater for the needs of the shopper but also the ‘hangers on’. I wanted to visit retail outlets in a more suburban setting and I wanted to observe the learnings with another shopper expert and friend Flick Collingwood 👩👧👧(she/her/hers).
While yesterday was focused on city centre London observing best in class retailing in high footfall retail areas, day two was a different vibe. So today was my day two of a retail safari reconnaissance to London.
